THOR & HERCULES: Blood on the Seal

One thing I love/hate about Photoshop is coloring. I swear unto the gods, I sometimes get a piece right, and other times, I loathe the hell out of it. I read tutorial after tutorial and feel like I'll never get "up to speed" on digital painting. Anyway, here's the (pretty much finished) piece in which Thor has been recaptured by the dark acolyte...

have you tried SAI for paint and color? that seems really well suited.

I love this idea. It reminds me Link's works with vikings in dungeon. :)

I check every day to see if you posted what you promised - demon brutaly beating Hercules to a bloody pulp :)
I hope there will be at least 3 drawings, with various punches, crushing those mighty chect, and destroying those manly abs, knocking the air out, accompanied by Hercules' painful face expression, and leaving him unconscious and totally defeated.
In short, I would like Hercules to feel unbearable pain, almost deathly, and to realize that these are his final moments... ;)

Marko, that will happen in due time...

Here's what I'm thinking so far:
--the demon chokes Herc (of course!)
--punches him into a wall
--kicks him "square in the nuts"
Also, Thor's torture strengthens the demon--it feeds off of pain.

So... no gut-punching? Destroying pecs? Some demon-slashing?...
I thought attacks would be more fantasy-like...
Or maybe that's only the warming up for a vicious demonic manhandling? ;-):-P

what bothers you about coloring in these programs?

Dear K, is there any chance that your promised drawings will see the light of day any time soon? I simply can't wait to enjoy the sequel of this epic "Thor and Hercules in jeopardy" saga. I'm sure these two are literally DYING to show how much pain they can take ;) Keep up the good work!
